The Amine Biocatalysis 5.0 conference in Groningen brought together established and emerging researchers from academia and industry to discuss the latest advances in biocatalytic amine synthesis and to speculate on future directions for the field.

A big thank you to all participants, the invited speakers, and all poster and oral presenters for a fantastic and inspiring conference. It was a pleasure to organize this event together with Gerrit J. Poelarends and Kristina Haslinger.
