Sandy receives NWO ENW XS grant!
Our proposal ‘Capturing carbon, creating value: Teaching carbon dioxide eating bacteria new tricks‘ was funded in the open Competition Domain Science-XS program of the Dutch Research Council (NWO). With the 50 k€ we will develop novel synthetic biology tools for the efficient genetic manipulation of Cupriavidus necator to manufacture pharmaceuticals from CO2 and H2.
